Abstract :
The two satellites of BSB have been designed to provide high quality television services to the United Kingdom during the 1990s, and into the 21st century. The satellites, when launched in 1989/90, will introduce the world´s first privately financed commercial high power DBS service and will offer the British viewers three channels of direct broadcast satellite service through receive terminals equipped with antennae of only 30 to 45 cm in size
