  • Abstract
    In this paper, we present a certified e-mail system providing non-repudiation, fairness, confidentiality and temporal authentication service based on transparent TSS (time stamping server). Scheme in this paper follows the generic messaging model as defined in the X.400 message handling system (CCITT, 1988) and the Internet mail system (Crocker, 1982). Compared with other schemes for certified e-mail, this scheme is more practical.
