  • Abstract
his paper presents a time domain load modeling technique for estimating the parameters of a linear and/or nonlinear load in the presence or absence of harmonics. The proposed technique assumes that the actual steady state bus voltage and load current are known in advance. The developed method is based on an accurate, simple and easy ways for calculating the parameters of the load from developed and definite relations. The numerical results of the given examples show the capability of the proposed technique compared to the previous time domain load modeling techniques. Further, the paper shows the effect of the fundamental power factor and harmonics amplitudes on the values of load modeling parameters. Furthermore, a proposed accuracy measuring factor is introduced in this paper
