Abstract
Multicast provides an efficient way to distribute multimedia information to different destinations simultaneously. To enhance the multicasting performance, a new Distributed QoS Multicast routing algorithm based on Ant algorithm is proposed for IP LEO satellite networks. By simulation, we compare the performance of our multicast routing algorithms with Shortest-Path Tree algorithm and Rectilinear Steiner Trees algorithm, the results show that our scheme can meet the delay-constraint, avoid link congestion, realize load-balancing, and achieve the minimal network cost.
