Abstract :
In case of time-of-arrival (TOA) measurements errors, selecting different reference point usually yields different accuracy of localization in wireless sensor networks by using classical Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) algorithm. In this paper, we derive the MDS algorithm which using centroid of network nodes as reference point, compared with which using one of nodes of sensor networks as reference point. Simulation results show that using centroid of network nodes as reference point yields better performance.
