  • Abstract
An algorithm for endless polarisation matching, using a LiNbO3 transducer, has been demonstrated in a 565 Mbit/s DPSK heterodyne transmission system with no apparent penalty. Miniaturised packaged external cavity lasers have greatly improved the stability of the system
