Abstract :
Wavelength selection with switching times τsw=1 ns is demonstrated using DFB optical amplifiers with net gain >10 dB. Dynamic selection of packets, switched between two wavelength-multiplexed channels separated by Δλ=0.23 nm, is demonstrated for 1.2 Gbit/s with BER<10-9
