Abstract :
The scattering of EM waves from plasmas has attracted much attention. In this paper, we calculated the backscattering RCS of plasma spheres. Many factors can affect the RCS of the plasma, such as the EM wave frequency, the plasma electron density and the collision frequency. So we considered these factors in the calculation and carried out parametric studies. The results from the calculation may be helpful in giving us an overall understanding of the RCS of the plasma sphere.
