Abstract
The real and imaginary parts of the refraction factor of several types of ferrite are measured. It is important for definition of suitability of ferrite disks for use in quasi-optical devices made on base of hollow dielectric waveguide. For the measurements, a two-channel spectrometer with automatic microwave losses equalized by calibrated attenuator, is used. The measurements are executed in the 1.2-1.8 mm wavelength range.
