Abstract :
The H∞ optimization methodology is adopted to the initial alignment of strap-down inertial navigation system (SINS), which estimates the angle misalignment and improves the standard Kalman filter performances when the system noises are not known completely. The H∞ filter is more robust and also improves the accuracy. The simulation results on a warship carried tactical weapons are given
