Abstract :
Reverse logistics essence and the important role of inventory control in reverse logistics are systemic studied, based on traditional inventory models, reverse logistics is introduced. According to particularity of products in declining period, using the technique of product life cycle; systems engineering; stochastic process and mathematical modeling, a mathematical model is constructed that demand and return both obey the Poisson distribution and they are independent of each other; part of returns are discarded. Then the mathematical model above is solved.
