Abstract
A brain-computer interface (BCI) combined with a remote-control system of an electric car is presented. By recognizing the alpha (CC) wave-block phenomenon in electroencephalography (EEG), subjects could control four moving directions displayed on a guidance panel through eyes action. 5 subjects were tested to investigate simplicity, accuracy and response time of system. Results show that, this system was very convenience for subjects to learn how operate, and furthermore it also met requirements of robustly perform online with acceptable error rate. This study provides a good technical foundation for the development of BCI control system and expresses applying potentials for engineering
