Abstract
Three programs useful for teaching various aspects of nonlinear control theory are described. They are all menu driven and run within the MATLAB environment making a major use of the linear control algorithms and graphics facilities therein. Advantage has also been taken of the facility to run FORTRAN programs within MATLAB to make use of existing software, to add other facilities, for example the entry format for transfer functions, and in some instances to speed up calculations. An example is use of the FORTRAN nonlinear algebraic equation solver from the NAG library, as this is found to run much faster than the equivalent MATLAB routine FSOLVE
