  • Abstract
Optical analysis is carried out in the laser scanning system. The new laser scanning system can derive 3D information by the way of the rotary mirror assembly and 2D laser ranger finder combination. The space analytical method is used during the optical analysis. The Cartesian coordinate formulas of the measured point are given by this method, and the coordinate formulas are purposed as well in the coordinates, the origin of which is the center of the laser ranger finder. These coordinates can express the measured point in the space and are important for the follow-up image reconstruction. Additionally the range of the reflect laser is given on the foundation of the formulas. Finally the derived results are proved to be correct using a parameter model based on entirely geometric constraint built in the 3D software.
