Abstract :
The paper describes the structure and underlying signal processing techniques of new VNIIM power standard. Functional concept of the system includes asynchronous sampling of voltage and current signals followed by extensive digital signal processing that involves compensation of known error sources. Among basic applications presented in the paper are measurement of power quality parameters and ratio measurements.
