Abstract :
In order to improve the matching precision and speed, a robust least square matching algorithm (RLSMA) is presented in the scene matching system. A scene matching mode (SMM) is established by analyzing the relationship of gray level between real-time image and referenced image. The formulation of RLSMA based on the characteristic of SMM is obtained, and a new condition for the iterative process to stop is presented. RLSMA is applied to the scene matching system, and compared with least square matching algorithm (LSMA). The simulation results demonstrate that RLSMA is better than LSMA in the matching precision and speed, and the condition for the iterative process to stop is effective
