Abstract :
This paper suggests a method for multiscale edge detection adaptively for each site in the image plane. We analyze the gray level change in the neighborhood to decide edge region and plain region. The edge width is analyzed in edge region to adjust the scale of quadratic spline wavelet. This method is proved to be effective and feasible by experiment and comparisons
