Abstract :
The LNE is currently engaged in the process of a new direct determination of the von Klitzing constant (RK) with a targeted global uncertainty reduced to 10-8. To reach this goal, a new Thompson-Lampard calculable capacitor with improved design is being constructed. This paper describes the present status of this project.
