Abstract :
The optimal kernel distribution of Cohen class time-frequency distribution (TFD) was analyzed, and a method of time-frequency correlation based on Cohen-reassignment TFD was proposed. The analysis method could depict a frequency-hopping signal efficiently and had higher resolution on the time-frequency domain, and could reduce or completely remove the cross-terms and diffuse other signal components. The computation could adopt a module algorithm with lower computation complexity, so it could be used for rapid tracking and acquisition of frequency-hopping communication systems. Computer simulation was also presented to show the performance of the analysis method.
