Abstract :
The design and construction details of the bootstrap transformer built recently at Inmetro are presented. This transformer is the main part of the system currently being developed to calibrate the 10:-1 ratio of the coaxial bridges used in the traceability chain to derive the capacitance unit from the quantized Hall resistance.
