Abstract :
An array of transputers has been used as the simulation engine in the modelling of broadband ATM networks. A message passing system has been developed for the control and operation of the simulation. The proposed system, called ATM Network Emulator Simulator Hybrid System, can be used by network developers as a flexible verification tool for testing prototypes produced for various parts of a broadband network
