Abstract :
Advances in software radio research for mobile communications systems over recent years are described. The five tiers solutions defined by the SDR Forum are presented. It is shown that for mobile communications, the software radio method may be a prospective and complete solution to EMC. The authors propose that the Chinese information industries and government administration authority should have a foresight on this area and take measures to develop this industry in China.
