Abstract :
This paper presents a study about physical analysis of intra raceway coupling for EMC purposes. A raceway is a metallic structure composed of several channels. It plays a key role in aircrafts in the protection against lightning indirect effects, current return management and segregation between routes. Coupling could be decomposed in a resistive and a mutual part. Some measurements and simulations are performed to confirm physical behavior. Finally, a surrogate model is proposed to give a quick and robust prediction of coupling between cables in two adjacent channels.
