Abstract :
In clinic medicine image processing, the image sequence are piped through an auto preprocessing, which divide cardiac image from irrelevance information, to obtain a normalized form. Thus, the LV area can be segmented from the sequence with ant-snake algorithm, which having two merits, the initial curve is just a point, very simple, and it can avoid partial extra-optimize of traditional snake curve, when segment approaches small concave of LV. On obtaining the ROI, the program makes six loops to reprocessing the ROI with other initial parameters. Finally, many measure values of LV are obtained with the statistics from above LV set. The whole processing is running on a DSP equipment for saving the elapsing time about 4 times, which designed with TMS320C6701 and large SBSRAM space to overcome the bottle-neck of image data route-way. With synthesis of soft and hard ware the whole performance is high and system approaches the aim of real time or quasi real time with less human alternation
