This article is based on principles of engineering economics, put forward the idea that combination of the innovation construction technological and the research of materials of heat preservation and insulation, built the structure of the cavity roof of heat preservation and insulation. With analyzing and comparing the experiment data and engineering example, it is shown that filling polystyrene foam in cavity roof improves the performance of heat preservation and insulation of the roof, and reduces the energy consumption of the buildings.
