Abstract
Electrochemotherapy (ECT) is a new and efficient approach for the treatment of tumors. It uses an electromagnetic impulse plus anticancer drugs to treat a tumor. The technique is very easy to control and operate and is of little harm to normal tissue. Especially, it is very efficient in curing flat tumors. We have used ECT to treat S-180 sarcomas in KunMing mice. In the experiment, we explored the optimal parameters of the electromagnetic impulse used in the treatment and acquired elementary results.
