Abstract :
This paper describes measurements to show possible non lineraties of different bandpass filters which can be used in the 2.4 GHz ISM band. Interdigital filters of different PCB materials and a commercial surface acoustic wave (SAW) filter have been investigated. With the use of the linear Fourier transformation of applied UWB pulses to these filters, the transfer function has been calculated and compared to the transfer function measured with a vector network analyzer. A nonlinear behavior of these filters has been observed depending on the used material and on the applied peak amplitude of the UWB pulse.
