Abstract :
A lot of mechanical test about SMA damper was made in this paper, then the test data was analyzed and processed by Matlab procedures and least-square method. Nonlinear and linear empirical formulas were established about the damping force and frequency and maximum trip, Through comparison and error analysis of calculated values and experimental values of the damper features parameters, the scope of application of two kinds of formulas were concluded.
