Abstract :
In wideband CDMA systems, the information symbols transmit with high rate. However, the multiple propagation paths can cause both multiple access interference (MAI) and intersymbol interference (ISI). The MAI and ISI must be considered simultaneously. In this paper, under the condition of known spreading code and the finite alphabet, a blind channel estimation method is proposed for wideband CDMA uplink. Based on the estimated channel, a linear minimum mean square error (MMSE) multiuser detector is constructed. The validity of the method is demonstrated by computer simulation
