Abstract :
We observe the significant change in the optical transmittance of lithium niobate samples with surface doping by combinations of photorefractive impurities (Fe+Cu) under influence of light with wavelengths of 633 nm and 470 nm. The relative contribution of light-induced change of optical absorption and temperature change to this effect is experimentally investigated and discussed
