Abstract :
Due to some intrinsic features of images, such as bulk data capacity, some traditional encryption algorithms are not suitable. The encryption scheme based on the discretized baker map is rapid and safe. This paper suggests there are three primary factors that threaten the security of the scheme. On the general formula of the discretized baker map the paper proposes an enhanced arithmetic. The experimental tests and results show that the arithmetic is efficient. Moreover the arithmetic is valid for other maps such as cat map
