Abstract :
The data acquisition system and signal processing in a monopulse Doppler radar is complex. Therefore, its design and solution must be studied carefully, as well as its testing. In this paper, the characteristics of the data acquisition system in a monopulse Doppler radar are analyzed in detail and some principles are promoted. An optimized solution is adopted for the data acquisition system and the most advanced DSP chip, the TMS320C6201, is applied. On system testing, a method is also introduced to survey the real performance. This system has been proven to be stable and excellent in a radar system
