The paper is a study of character modeling in animation design. Innovating animated characters based on plural themes is the prerequisite of modeling the lifelike and distinctive cartoon images. With the intention of creating originality, the designers will display or exaggerate characters by means of computer-aided design technology, or alternatively highlight the cartoon images via the story plot. It proposes a way for the animation commercialization through innovation to promote the integrated development of animation industry.
