  • Abstract
    In this paper, we investigate survivability in multi-layered GMPLS optical networks and propose a novel Mixed Shared Protection Algorithm (MSPA) based on Integrated Layered Graph (ILG) to tolerate the single-fiber-link failure. Simulation results show that, compared to previous algorithm, MSPA can obtain better bandwidth utilization ratio and lower blocking probability.
