Abstract :
In order to meet the needs of high quality video signal processing of radar, this paper proposes two new multi-segment-based models on the basis of the typical order statistics CFAR processing plus slide-window detection (OS-CFAR+SWD), optimizes their multiple thresholds with the special designed real genetic algorithm (RGA), and gives simulation results, which show that the multi-segment-based processing is better than the classical two-segment processing, and the decision-making by RGA-derived thresholds can improve largely the detectability of OS-CFAR+SWD
