Abstract :
Ball and plate system is a typical multi-variable plant, which is the extension of the traditional ball and beam problems. GA Fuzzy Neural Network Control (GA-FNNC) scheme is introduced for the stabilization problem at the designed point for the ball and plate system. The simulation result is fine, especially near the stabilization point, which embody the nice characters of the GA-FNNC scheme, such as high accuracy, no oscillation and no overshoot. This control scheme is compared with fuzzy control scheme in the experiment, the result shows that our scheme has better control performance.
