After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.

As a starting point this essay elaborate the relationship between culture and product design to study the resource-based Chu culture, through systematic analysis of the cultural background of Chu culture, cultural symbol, and the idea of carrying the Chu culture, from the unique cultural elements to absorb nutrition of Chu. Secondly, through the cultural symbols in a variety of product design in the present (form, function, material, and color) expression studies will establish the cultural connotation of how to properly integrate into the modern product design. Chu culture eventually bells as a design element, the design of the modern sound, as the Chu culture in the modern examples of the use of product design.
