Abstract :
This paper introduces research into the integration of signal and information processing techniques into the medical comprehensive analysis system (MCAS). It includes eight modules and deals with signal acquisition, calibration and normalization, signal and image processing, signal and image analysis, data visualization, data storage and retrieval. It overcomes the shortcomings for traditional medical instructions: (I) their price is high; (II) their functions are limited and fixed; (III) their software and hardware are not separable and hardly expandable; (IV) their data are localized and non-sharable. MCAS is developed in independent modules. It is expandable, comprehensive and sharable. Moreover some new algorithms are briefly described
