Abstract :
In this paper, an Interface Agent which worked as an assistant between the users and FAQ systems to retrieve FAQs on the domain of Personal Computer was illustrated. Specifically, how ontology helped interface agents to provide better FAQ services and related algorithms described in details. Our preliminary experimentation demonstrated that user intention and focus of up to eighty percent of the user queries can be correctly understood by the system, and accordingly provided the query solutions with higher user satisfaction.
