Abstract
The authors describe the characteristics of a local exchange carrier´s service management system and focus on a computer-to-computer interface to a local exchange carrier´s management services. Specifically, they suggest how the OSI (Open Systems Interconnection) management protocols could form the basis of an interface between a local exchange carrier´s service management system and a customer´s integrated network management system
