Abstract :
We apply our proposed time-domain based three antenna method [1][2] for evaluating a free-space antenna factor of a bowtie and log-periodic hybrid antenna (bi-log antenna) for electromagnetic interference measurement (EMI). The method is based on the techniques of a time domain analysis and a pulse compression technique. The method enables us to isolate the direct wave from the reflected waves on the ground plane in an open area test site, and to evaluate the free-space antenna factor of a bi-log antenna.
