Abstract :
The Cylindrical near-field (CNF) scanning result of a base station antenna at 2 GHz frequency range is presented. Scanning is performed in two perpendicular directions, and slanted polarization effect of the base-station antenna is considered by synthesizing two scanning measurement. The comparison results between CNF and extrapolation technique based on the three antenna method of the far-field gains will be presented.
