Abstract :
Tapered cells are used in E-field probes calibration [1]-[2]. Nevertheless, few studies on tapered cells are found. In this paper, the structure of taper cells is introduced and a theoretical model for characteristic impedance calculation is provided. Based on this model, we constructed a tapered cell. And the model is then verified by the measured characteristic impedances of the tapered cell.
