  • Abstract
    After a comparison and analysis between several conventional ground resistance testers such as the megger and the ground resistance tester with single clamp and so on, their disadvantages in practice are illuminated. A new kind of ground resistance tester with double clamps is presented. The tester, with C8051F006 as core, adopting measurement method basing on AC variable frequency, realizes on-line measuring ground resistance exactly, without the use of auxiliary ground rods and disconnecting the ground. The principles, hardware and software design of the tester are introduced in detail. Field application shows that the tester has the advantages of low cost, high-precision, better anti-interference, low power consumption, high degree of automation and so on. The tester can substitute for similar imported product completely
