Abstract
Using the Precision Time synchronization Protocol (PTP), a desktop computer can synchronize to the Grand Master. It is the first time synchronization in the sub-microsecond (10-6s) range is achieved. We utilize the desktop computer as the standard time generator and the desktop computer in the PTP synchronized mode. In this study, we design an interface with an I/O (input and output) signal function. We create the function of TIC with a desktop computer and a simple interface in the sub-microsecond range.
