Abstract
A side-opened suspended core fiber integrated microfluidic chip for surface plasmon resonance enhancement is presented. The influences of fiber size, thickness of Au film, resonance wavelength and fluidic dynamics on the characteristics of the surface enhanced biosensing sensors are investigated.
