Abstract :
The finite-difference time domain (FDTD) method is used to analyze shielding effectiveness of the infinite wire-mesh reinforcement, reinforced-concrete layer and concrete-only layer in a high power electromagnetic environment. Our research takes into account all the factors affecting shielding effectiveness (jointing of reinforcing steels´ cross points, connection of the reinforcement hoops and natural defensive layers). Numerical examples concerning the analysis are given in this paper.
