Abstract :
The application of the artificial neural network (ANN) is one of the most important developments in the fire alarming technology. This paper proposes a intelligent fire detection system combined with a smoke sensor, a CO sensor and a thermal sensor. An ANN is also used to process signals from the above three sensors. By using the proposed structure, we reduce both false alarm and missing detection rates and improve the dependability and the reliability of the fire detection
