Abstract :
There are many uncertainties and knowledge redundancy in fault diagnosis while the rough set theory is a new the mathematical tools to deal with the uncertainty of information. The rough set theory provides a a new effective way of dealing with the mechanical fault diagnosis . This paper presents a method of discretization which can be used in incomplete continuous information processing, and uses the weighted clustering method to determine breakpoints, and chooses breakpoints using the decision-making table´s compatibility as standards. Experiments show that it is a satisfactory alternative method.
