Abstract :
The single-carrier frequency-domain equalization (SC-FDE) is now being considered as an important physical layer (PHY) option for the 60-GHz wireless personal area network (WPAN). We proposed using the complementary Golay sequences to improve the accuracy of the channel estimation in SC-FDE system. These sequences have the autocorrelation of unique main peak and zero sidelobe. We proved by simulations that it is very effective for SC-FDE system under fixed point low-density parity-check (LDPC) decoding.
